We have biked to the overlook of Lake Sonoma, and it is breathtaking! Surrounding the lake are miles of hiking and biking trails--plenty of fall foliage photo ops :)
You can check out the Farmer's Market on Saturday, visit Levin & Co for a good book, peruse tchotchkes at Mr. Moon's, or pop into one of the many cafes or bakeries!
Check out The Matheson's famous "wine wall" with 88 rotating selections available by the taste, sip, or glass. This is a realllly easy way to accidentally spend way too much money on teeny sips of vintage wine, so be careful (but it's worth it)! Food at the Matheson is outstanding. We had a blast dining at the counter to watch the chefs work. If you want a more casual dining experience, check out the restaurant on the roof called Roof 106 for some wood-fired cuisine and killer cocktails!
Jason has been known to show up to parties with a six pack of hard ciders. Because, don't you know, it's the universally accepted favorite party drink!! But in all seriousness, being allergic to gluten, and thus beer, dating someone who is so committed to hard cider has been delightful for Audrey. This is a great spot to choose from a huge selection of ciders. And, if you're having a hard time figuring out a wedding gift, this is the obvious place to pick up a six pack for Jason. Located just off Sonoma Plaza with tons of other shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms close-by.
Check out Sonoma Plaza to meander through gift shops, wine tasting rooms and fun restaurants. Our personal favorite tasting room on the Plaza is Pangloss Cellars!
Enjoy a stroll or bike ride in this gorgeous open preserve. You can pick up a bike from Spoke Folk Cyclery and Wine Country Bikes!
