Things To Do

Connor and I would absolutely love for you all to spend the long holiday weekend with us and get the chance to fall in love with Charleston like we have! There are multitudes of amazing things to do, visit, and eat here; you honestly cannot go wrong. However, here are some of the bride and groom's favorite attractions if you need any recommendations! Below are lists of restaurants, bars, and places to visit if you want to venture outside of CHS (although you can honestly spend the entirety of your stay in downtown) As for downtown CHS itself, each block has its own special offerings. We typically like to mosey around the Battery, Rainbow Row, and the French Quarter, as well as the Charleston Central Market, stumbled upon churches and museums, and even the Charleston Aquarium! We also enjoy strolling down King street, as it is full of boutique and luxury shopping options, however various other locations are spread throughout downtown!

Husk’s talented team together with a carefully compiled network of local farmers and purveyors, builds on that illustrious culinary legacy, enhancing classic flavors and long-standing food traditions with subtle global influences to reflect the modern American South. Equal parts neighborhood gathering place for locals and bucket list dining destination for travelers, Husk is as elegant and welcoming as the city it calls home, where life moves slower, marked only by shared meals, changing seasons, and the incoming and outgoing tides.
