If you’re staying for a long weekend, consider visiting Kelleys Island (the largest of Ohio’s Lake Erie Islands). Its downtown has a mix of gift shops, miniature golf, and bars/restaurants. Rent a golf cart to explore the island’s wineries and glacial grooves, located just a short ride from downtown. You can reach the island via the Jet Express from Port Clinton or Sandusky.
