Where will the celebrations take place?

Our wedding ceremony will begin at 1:30 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Sandusky, OH. The celebration will continue at Gideon Owen Wine Company, with cocktail hour starting at 4:30 PM, followed by the reception. Please visit our “Schedule” page for more detail.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

As the ceremony begins promptly at 1:30 PM, we recommend you aim to arrive at the church by 1:00 PM to ensure you are seated on time.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please join us in cocktail attire. Both the ceremony and reception will be held in air-conditioned spaces.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We truly wish we could include everyone’s little ones! Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we can only accommodate children of family members. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!

Is there transportation to the reception?

Answer

There will be a shuttle to run guests between the Hampton Inn and Gideon Owen, with shuttle service to Gideon Owen beginning at 4:15 PM.

Is there parking available at Gideon Owen?

Answer

For guests driving to the reception, Gideon Owen has ample free on-site parking.

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

You’re welcome to leave your car at Gideon Owen overnight if needed. The venue kindly asks that it be picked up by 10:30 AM the following morning.
