The Beach at New Smyrna Beach
Volusia county beaches are known for being able to drive on the beach, if you brought your car and want to take a drive. Jason and I usually stay near the beach when we visit and love to take walks on the beach in the mornings.
Flagler Avenue
Fun shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance of both hotels. Go for a stroll, you can't go wrong. Some of our favorites are below. Cool Beans Cafe - local coffee shop Third Wave - breakfast, lunch, or dinner - no reservations The Beacon - New Smyrna breakfast diner staple Toni & Joe's Patio - casual breakfast & lunch patio on the beach Manzano's - great sandwiches Breakers - burgers on the beach what could be better? Flagler Tavern - drinks, live music, & sports (also our after party location) The Bounty - Speakeasy upstairs of the Tavern, great craft cocktails
Canal Street
New Smyrna's "downtown" close to the wedding venue. Another fun strip to stroll down with shops and restaurants, our favorites are below. Yellow Dog Eats - Eclectic BBQ Spot including vegetarian options
Mon Delice
Aubrey's favorite sub spot! We get a "super" here each time we come to town. They also have great pastries.
The Garlic
Great spot for dinner! No reservations but the food and ambience are great!
Island Roasters Coffee Company
Great local coffee shop we love to stop at when we're in town!
