Go visit the Bloomsburg Fair from Friday September 23rd, 2022 thru Saturday October 1st, 2022 for amazing food truck dives, carnival games, small business stands, and more! This is a wonderful opportunity to stay busy in the area during your downtime!
This place holds a great atmosphere for some casual drinks, music, and appetizers! Ed loves their Foggy Doo IPA!
If you’re a coffee connoisseur like Aubrey is, you’ll want to know about the best quirky cafe in the area. We recommend Amami Kitchen & Espresso Bar to satisfy your routine morning coffee run or for a yummy mid-day snack.
May's Drive-In was a favorite of ours throughout our dating years (they have another location right by the college in Bloomsburg). We usually went there for a quick bite before Aubrey would head back to school in York after her weekend visits to see Ed. Visit the Lewisburg location if you're looking for a place to grub or for some great ice cream! (Note: if you are family of the bride, this restaurant is a LOT like Boehringer's Drive-In in Adamstown!)
If you haven't noticed the trend, we are huge foodies and love spending time finding the best restaurants. Sitting across each other at a dinner table is the best opportunity for us to unwind, talk about life’s latest happenings, and spend quality time together. Although a bit far, West End Ale Haus is the best place to go if you're looking for some late night snacks and drinks to keep the party going. They are open until 2AM on Friday nights. Settled in the college town of Bloomsburg, we ate here OFTEN, mostly because Aubrey loves the apps. Order the Honey Buffalo Chicken Dip - it comes with melted mozzarella on top and a toasted garlic baguette for dipping - it’s simply phenomenal!
