WHERE TWO BECOME ONE.

Ed proposed to Aubrey in the gazebo at Long’s Park on Harrisburg Pike in Lancaster. Our date included to-go orders of frozen Nutella hot chocolates from Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie on W Walnut Street in Lancaster City and a margherita pizza from The Fridge on N Mulberry. After eating, Ed proposed while a hidden photographer captured the moment. We spent the evening celebrating with both of our families at the Eberly house. Picture lots of tears, champange, and sentimental words spoken by all - it was simply beautiful.

We met through a mutual friend during the end of the fall semester of Ed’s sophomore year and Aubrey’s freshman year at Bloomsburg University. We began dating about six months later in May of 2018 after a date that included a visit to Eddie’s hometown! Ed studied Finance during his undergrad and wrapped up his time at Bloomsburg University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Ed also pitched for the Bloomsburg Baseball team: go Huskies! Aubrey spent lots of time traveling with the Herbeners and sitting on stadium bleachers at various schools watching Ed pitch through their dating years. Although a quiet fan in the stands - she loved every second of it! Aubrey studied Medical Imaging for two years and finished up her undergrad doing clinicals at WellSpan York Hospital. She passed her ARRT board examination in June of 2021 right after graduation. Eddie visited Aubrey whenever he could as a busy athlete; sometimes he would make the two hour trek just to spend a few hours with her! Our relationship has been a wonderful nearly-4-year blur of busy schedules, weekend visits, and evolving seasons (this season being our most favorite yet) - and we wouldn’t change it for the world!
