This is a lovely 0.6-mile long beach located on the Annisquam River.
Long Beach
A long protected stretch of ocean and sand perfect for swimming, from here you can easily view the twin lighthouses on Thatcher Island.
Bearskin Neck
A small neck of land that juts out of the town center into Rockport Harbor, lined with quaint little studios, shops, and restaurants. Home of the famous old red fish house known as Motif #1, said to be the most photographed building in the country.

Eastern Point Lighthouse
Situated at the tip of Gloucester Harbor, America's oldest seaport. The harbor has supported fishermen, whalers, traders, and even smugglers since 1616. "The Perfect Storm" was filmed locally and featured the beautiful Eastern Point Lighthouse.
