Approximately 3 hours away via paved roads - Tamarindo/ Flamingo: Located in an area with more tourists. Lots to do during the day and night. - Manuel Antonio: Beautiful wild life preservation. Great place to see monkeys and sloths! - Puerto Viejo: Located on the Caribbean coast with black sand beaches. Approximately 5-6 hours away via non-paved roads - Santa Teresa: Hands down our favorite beach. It is difficult to get here, but it is well worth it. This beach is less crowded with a great night life and things to do and eat! - Montezuma: Located close to Santa Teresa. Beautiful waterfalls within walking distance.
