IMPORTANT TO NOTE: If you find a lower rate for this hotel than our discount, please go ahead and book your room through the third-party site, but let us know ASAP so your name can be manually added to our room block. The higher our numbers are, the more perks/rewards become available for everyone. Also, if you're an AARP member, you can combine discounts. There are also additional discounts for active duty or retired military personnel.

Shuttle

Shuttle from the Hotel to the Wedding Venue

September 14, 2020 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

A free shuttle will transport guests staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Buffalo Grove to Astoria Banquets and Events Venue. After the wedding is over, the shuttle will return you back to the hotel. The shuttle will make ~4 trips, starting at 4 pm and leading up to the wedding ceremony's start time (5 pm sharp)! Once the wedding is over at 11:30 pm, the shuttle will drop guests off at the hotel until around 12:30 am (or as long as needed - be considerate). The shuttle can transport 11 people at a time and is ADA compliant. Please be kind to and patient with the driver. If you drove to the wedding venue, but are unable to drive to the hotel afterward for any reason, PLEASE use the shuttle service. Again, it is free of charge and available to all of our guests. In any case, DO NOT drink and drive. Rideshare is also another viable option.

Car Share

Please plan your travel arrangements in advance of the wedding. Download the Lyft or Uber app on your smartphone and link your credit/debit card for convenient, no-hassle payment options. If you do not have a smartphone, please have at least $50 in cash (depending on where you're traveling from) to cover the costs of your car share.

Flight

O'Hare International Airport

If you're flying into Chicago from out of the state/country, it will be most convenient to fly into O'Hare and commute to Buffalo Grove, IL (where our venue is housed). The drive to Buffalo Grove, IL from O'Hare Airport via I-294 N is approximately 25 minutes.

If you're spending the weekend (or longer) in the Chicago area and will not be staying at the hotel we reserved for our guests, Airbnb is another viable, affordable option. Locate your housing accommodations early!
