Do I need to RSVP by a certain date?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, August 14th. When you RSVP, please make sure you select a meal and note any allergies. Please reach out to us if you have any issues with the RSVP function!

Where are the ceremony and reception located?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Rick's Cafe Boatyard. The ceremony will take place outside at the gazebo. The reception will be upstairs in the Imperial Room.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to venue size and guest limits, we will not be inviting kids to the wedding or reception. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is dressy casual. Basically, dress up a bit, but be comfortable. Please note that the ceremony will be outside and some or all chairs may be in the grass.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. Please plan to arrive by 4:15 at the latest to allow time to locate the gazebo and get seated.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, Rick's Cafe Boatyard has ample free parking.

I'm coming in from out of town. What do I need to know?

Answer

If you're flying, you should plan to fly into Indianapolis International Airport (IND). Please see the Travel and Things To Do pages for hotel and other information. We recommend renting a car for ease of traveling to the hotel and to the venue (which is about 30 minutes from the hotel), as well as to do other things around Indy. Both the hotel and venue have plenty of free parking. That said, the hotel is located in a very walkable area full of restaurants, so a car is not absolutely necessary. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need more information!
