We met our final year at Fossil Ridge High School in Ms. Seeton’s accounting class. On the first day, Ms. Seeton walked us through the typical flow of the class; Tests on these dates, homework due on those dates, and oh… the couple that is formed every year. To make things more interesting, we learned that the notorious couples typically sat in our general area of the room. Thinking nothing of it, we continued through the year never really meeting each other. During the final weeks of class, Jake approached Madi, asking questions about an assignment because Jake's partner was gone. Nervously, Madi answered Jake's questions and we sat together for the rest of the class. When it was time to leave, Jake complimented Madi's shoes and the rest is history. (She wore those shoes everyday after that, obviously)
