Our wedding party will begin walking down the aisle at 1:00pm, so please aim to arrive by 12:45 at the latest.
Our wedding ceremony will take place with a Catholic mass, so please dress conservatively (Avoiding plunging necklines, short hemlines). Our reception will be in the evening at the Augusta Marriot, so feel free to change into something else if you'd like but we prefer to keep the attire semi-formal. Dress to the nines, bring your best, have FUN! The preferred attire will be evening semi-formal or formal. We'd love for you to break out your suits or favorite evening gowns for the night! Please stay away from white, navy blue, and dark pink.
Augusta is a beautiful place during this time of year, so please expect the air to be cool and crisp and enjoy the changing fall colors. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors. There will be direct access to a beautiful view of the Savannah River at our reception site for beautiful pictures.
Please be prepared to spend the whole day with us! Our ceremony should end at approximately 2:15pm or earlier and our wedding reception does not formally start until 5:00pm with our cocktail hour at The Augusta Marriott. You are free to explore Downtown Augusta at this time, go home and change, run some errands if you're local, etc. We will include a list of some fun places to see around the Augusta area in between times.
At this point in time, we are lovingly requesting for no other guests other than the ones outlined on the wedding invitations are permitted to our wedding reception- this includes children. The children present at our wedding reception will be those that are participating in our wedding party.
We will be including a food restrictions card in our formal invitations where you can notify us of your food restrictions. Please let us know these well ahead of time so that we may coordinate with the wonderful serving staff at The Augusta Marriott!
Out of an abundance of caution, we are distributing two (1) drink "ticket" for our full bar per adult guest. After that free drink on us, you are more than welcome to bring cash if you choose to partake in more.
Please brings your phones and cameras and share with us in capturing our special day by using #atluonglast and #aluongtimecoming . We lovingly request that you respect the sanctity and sacredness of our wedding ceremony by keeping the photos and videos to a minimum during the Mass.
