Things To Do

We are lucky to call Seattle our home. Below are a few of our favorite spots!

Tamari Bar

500 East Pine Street, Seattle, WA 98122

Japanese izakaya restaurant in Capitol Hill, great happy hour, lively vibe.

Bar del Corso

3057 Beacon Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98144

Cozy Italian eatery with wood fired pizzas, great negronis, cute outdoor patio. Reservations recommended.

Local Tide

401 North 36th Street, Seattle, WA 98103

Small casual spot with excellent NW seafood (and the smash burger rocks). Located in Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. You can also order Local Tide from the bar at Aslan Brewing (nextdoor).

Asadero Ballard

5405 Leary Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107

Argentinean Steakhouse, reasonably priced and very lively. Reservation recommended.

Liberty Bar

517 15th Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98112

Cozy cocktail bar in North Capitol Hill with great sushi.

Little Thing Wine Bar

3003 Beacon Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144

A woman-owned natural wine spot with great daily glass pours and a curated bottle shop.

Ballard Farmers Market

5345 Ballard Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107

The best year round farmers market in Seattle with a variety of vendors (produce, flowers, crafts, food carts). Get Ballard early to park and walk around when it opens (9am). Don't miss stopping by Woodland Mod and Prism - two of Hannah's favorite local shops.

Washington Park Arboretum

2300 Arboretum Drive East, Seattle, WA 98112

Excellent park for a long walk with lots of native plants and trees. Near the University of Washington.

Seward Park

5900 Lake Washington Boulevard South, Seattle, WA 98118

The Seward Park loop is our favorite walk. 2.5 miles with a great view of Lake Washington. Stop by nearby Third Place Books/Chuck's Hop Shop to browse for books (new and used) and enjoy a beer and a smash burger afterwards.

Agua Verde Paddle Club

1307 Northeast Boat Street, Seattle, WA 98105

Fun spot on Lake Union to rent paddleboards and kayaks to rent by the hour. Grab a margarita and chips and guacamole at the restaurant.

For all the days along the way
