We have not booked any hotel blocks, but we do have a few hotel suggestions for you! Airbnb rentals will most likely be the cheaper way to go especially if you can split the cost with other guests. There are plenty of Short Term Rentals in Bend and we recommend looking for ones with a 97701, 97702 or 97703 zip code. For those of you wanting to stay close to the wedding events, we do not recommend staying in Redmond or Sunriver as they are both about a 30 drive to Bend. If you are comfortable with that commute then that might be a cheaper accommodation. Bend in the summer is a hot spot for tourists so book quickly!

There will be one 55 person shuttle bus taking people on a first come first serve basis from the ceremony location to the reception. This should transport most of our guests that aren't driving and cut down on the amount of Ubers/Lyfts needed.

Traveling within Bend

Ubers and Lyfts are the easiest way to get around the small town of Bend. There are also Bird Bikes for rent that operate within certain limits.

Flight

Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM)

Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) is the nearest full-service airport to Bend accessible via five airlines: American, United, Avelo, Alaska, and Delta. It takes approximately 25-30 minutes to travel from RDM to downtown Bend.

Flight

Portland International Airport (PDX)

The second closest full-service airport, located approximately 160 miles from Bend. There is a direct bus from Portland to Bend four times a week accessible from PDX. Basic fare for tickets = $20. Premium/flexible tickets are available for an additional fee. Tickets can be purchased online or at the station, but it’s recommended to purchase in advance. These buses depart from Portland Union Station and arrive at Hawthorne Station in Bend. The operating company is Central Oregon Breeze.
