The 1206 is located on Main Avenue in Crete, where street parking is free! There will be parking spaces within a block of The 1206 along Main Avenue, E 12th Street, and Linden Avenue.
We'll be taking some photos with family and friends at this event, so let's dress up! You should feel like YOU, but take this opportunity to wear something special and FUN – something that you might not get the opportunity to wear anywhere else. Keeping with wedding traditions, please no white, ivory, or cream outfits unless you're the bride... you're not! :) If you're not sure or have a question about attire, reach out to Atira for more specifics.
With respect to our immunocompromised family & guests, we ask that attendees stay up-to-date with this season's flu & covid vaccines, and are covid-negative in order to be present. On the day of the event, please do not enter the facility if you are feeling sick or have a fever. If you have questions about the enforcement of these guidelines, please contact Atira directly.
All guests have been invited by name, including children. If you feel we missed someone's name on your invitation, please reach out to us to verify.
We have provided a plus one to the friends and family members in established relationships, so you will see on your invitation if we have allotted space for your significant other. If we overlooked someone, please reach out to us to confirm.
Please let us know whether you plan to join us before Saturday, March 30, 2024 when we will be finalizing the guest count for food and supplies. We appreciate your cooperation!
May 12, 2024 will be our 10 Year Anniversary together, and we like simple math :) Acknowledging that this date falls on Mother's Day, we will be incorporating recognition for the mothers in attendance at our event. This event is a reception celebration only, so there should still be time for your Mother's Day celebrations earlier in the day if you're planning to join us.
You probably haven't heard anyone call me by the nickname "Tree" in person, but it's actually a longstanding inside joke. It started in high school: Mrs True's math class, on the first day she was taking attendance. Like many people reading my name for the first time, she didn't know how to pronounce it at all. She stumbled on it for a minute and gave up after saying "uh...tree" out loud. Everyone in class got a good kick out of it – loving it as a nickname, "Tree". Eventually so did Nessa, and later Josh. I don't actually go by "Tree", but it flows nicely with "Joshua". – Atira
