My name is Mora. I am originally from Lansing but now live in Westland, MI. I am currently pursuing a Master's of Public Health in Industrial Hygiene at U of M, while also working as an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for a manufacturing company based out of Lansing. I enjoy sleeping more than the average person in my free time and also attend music festivals and concerts! Hannah and I met back in 2016. We were assigned randomly as roommates during our freshmen year of college at GVSU. I remember how excited I was to learn that Hannah was also in marching band. We bonded right away over our love of music. Since then, our friendship has grown over the years, despite being in completely different programs and not having lived with each other very long. My love for Hannah and Michael is never ending and I'm beyond honored to be apart of their new forever journey.

How do I express so many years of friendship in words? I’ve known Mike since we were infants, when our mothers would take us to the park to play. My name is Marty and my first memories kick off with a birthday party. Michael and I could have ran around and played in the ball pits or the jungle gym, but instead we chose to play a Battle Toads arcade cabinet. The. Entire. Time. This was the beginning of a beautiful friendship that would span a lifetime. There are a million memories, a million experiences to choose from yet I can’t seem to find the words to describe how much his companionship and brotherhood have meant to me these last 26 years. He is more than a friend, he’s my brother. He’s the person that I can always count on, that I love with all my heart. No matter where we explore, no matter what trouble awaits us, I know that he will always be there for me and I for him. Michael is the cornerstone and constant of my life. Always reliable, always full of life, always there. You have blessed my life more than you’ll ever know and I will never be able to pay you back for the unending support. In the end I just want to say thank you. Thank you for everything these many years, for being my partner in crime, my ride and die, and here’s to a lifetime more. My name is Alex and I have known Michael for over a decade. We met in high school and have been crafting game ideas ever since. I was also the one that introduced Michael to Magic the Gathering and started his obsession with the game. When I have free time I love to draw, paint, and play softball with my family. My name is Nokomis and I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan! I went to GVSU to study Political Science and Women and Gender Studies. I work at a nonprofit called AYA Youth Collective on their Advancement Team and I love what I do! I love to bake and cook and I even have my own baking business. When I'm not baking, I'm out sailing or playing with my dog Ruby. I met Hannah and Michael in 2017 and I am so proud of them for everything they have accomplished! I cannot wait to get these two married and to celebrate them all day!

I remember meeting him at a birthday sleepover and wanting to hang out more with Michael than the person I originally went over to see. As the years went on, our conversations have ranged from the silly to the serious, from discussing our favorite music to contemplating the mysteries of the universe. Michael can be many things, at times both silly and profound. We faced the trials and tribulations of adolescence together, providing each other with unwavering support. Our friendship weathered storms and celebrated victories, a testament to the bond we had nurtured over time. During high school Michael would come over to my house seemingly everyday to play video games and watch movies. While we live far away from each other now, we still make time to play Mario Party and other games together while chatting on the phone. I am a bit of a procrastinator, but maybe one day I will get my act together and DM and Dungeons and Dragons campaign!

Marty and I were both part of GVSU's Smash Club and he brought Mike along one day to introduce him to the rest of the group since he liked Smash too. Eventually, we all started hanging out and the rest is history!
