Question
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
We would love to see everyone get dressed up alongside us! We are requesting a semi-formal attire for the wedding. Our wedding colors are purple, green, and gold should you be interested in fitting the theme, however this is not a requirement. Our wedding is also dungeons and dragons themed, so if you're feeling festive renaissance fair attire is encouraged as well! Additionally, our ceremony (with weather permitting) will take place outdoors, so bring a jacket to keep yourself warm!

Is there a hotel block for the wedding?
Answer
Unfortunately we were unable to get a hotel block as our wedding is occurring during Charelvoix's busy season. There is a handful of hotels in the Charlevoix area (listed in the hotels tab) as well as plenty of AirBnB's in the area. I would suggest if you are planning on attending the wedding to book your lodging sooner rather than later to guarantee a spot.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Castle Farms. The ceremony is scheduled to be held in the Queen's Courtyard and the reception will be held in the King's Great Hall immediately after for cocktail hour. Should Mother Nature not be on our side, the ceremony will also be held in the King's Great Hall. Please see the Schedule tab for more information.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive no later than 4:30 pm to give yourself ample time to park and get yourself situated for the ceremony taking place in the Queens Courtyard. The ceremony will start at 5 pm sharp so the night can remain on schedule.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony the bridal party and immediate family of the bride and groom will stay for photos, which will take about an hour. Everyone else is free to head upstairs to the King's Great Hall to enjoy the tavern experience of cocktail hour!

Are children allowed at the wedding?
Answer
While we do adore your little ones, the event will be primarily adults only so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
Parking will be free at the venue. There will potentially be multiple weddings going on that night, and Castle Farms will have a section of the parking lot marked for our wedding.
