Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

Los Angeles has many airports, but LAX is definitely the easiest for both domestic and international flights and is only a short car ride away from all hotel and rental suggestions.

Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR)

The Burbank airport is another good option for domestic flights, although a bit further from Santa Monica. It is about 15 miles away or 45 minutes.

This is a great option if you want to be close to the beach and the bustling 3rd Street Promenade. It is about a 10-minute car ride to the wedding venue.

The Georgian Hotel

Our wedding planner Krissy recommended this hotel. Trip Advisor says "A whimsical colorful facade, this upscale art deco hotel dating from 1933 is a 9 minute walk from the pier and across from the oceanfront palisades park". I hope they've upgraded the plumbing since 1933, and Chris once caught a Magikarp on the palisades park during the Pokémon Go phenomenon. The Georgian Hotel is about a 10 minute drive to the wedding venue.

Shutters on the Beach

An incredible beachfront hotel with Cape Cod vibes, Trip Advisor calls it "The epitome of Southern California's Breezy Lifestyle". I once got my bike locked there on a first date and the staff was quite helpful. 4.5 out of 5 Stars. Shutters on the Beach is about a 10-minute drive to the wedding venue.
