Fly into Thessaloniki, Makedonia Airport (SKG)

This is the best option. Thessaloniki airport is about an hour and 15 minute drive to the wedding venue. From Thessaloniki airport, you can get to Halkidiki by rental car, taxi, or shuttle (if hotel/airbnb offers this option). Please feel free to reach out with any further questions! **Please note: ETIAS application is no longer needed (yay)! This will now begin in mid 2025 so no need to worry about it.

Rental Car

Can be picked up from Thessaloniki airport

Once in Thessaloniki, the best way to get to Halkidiki is to rent a car and take the scenic 1 hour drive along the Aegean coastline. I recommend booking a rental car through booking.com. CAR TRANSFER (THESSALONIKI - CHALKIDIKI) With https://thesstransferservices.gr/en/booking/ you can easily book your transfer from Thessaloniki airport to your recommended destination. Includes a van option fitting up to 8 people. TAXI TRANSFER (THESSALONIKI - CHALKIDIKI) Outside the airport you will find a large taxi stand, expect to pay around 100 - 130 Euro for the ride to Halkidiki. Very few taxis take card, so make sure you have cash on hand!
