Things to Do
BEACHES:
There are several different beaches and beach bars you can visit in the surrounding area. Here are a few of our favorites:
» Glarokavos Beach Bar (We had a veal burger here which was really tasty!)
» Lefki Ammos (quieter atmosphere)
» Umbrellas (Loud music, tasty food)
» Elephant Beach Bar
» Navagos Beach Bar (about 15min south)
CRUISES:
There are daily cruise options taking trips to Glarokavos (Blue Lagoon), Sithonia (2nd leg of Halkidki) and other hidden locations!
SHOPPING/FOOD:
There are a handful of small shops with traditional Greek items, souvenir shops, boutiques, jewelry stores, waterfront restaurants, and more! One of our favorites is "Restaurant Vlahos".
FOR FAMILIES:
There is a small amusement park (Dinos Luna Park) on the main strip of Pefkochori with various games, rides, and attractions! Usually doesn't open until around 7PM. Also Crazyland WaterPark (on Porto Beach)
"Blue Lagoon" or Glarokavos
This is Porto Koufo - the largest natural port of Greece. This is one of the stops on the cruises leaving Pefkohori port!
