Our Travel Plan

We will be in Boracay from February 16–20 for the vow renewal celebrations. After the 20th, we’ll be flying back to Cebu, my home island, to continue exploring. You can fly into either Cebu (CEB) or Manila (MNL) — both are great options. We personally are flying into Cebu since we’ll be returning there after Boracay, but feel free to choose whichever airport fits your travel plans best. If you’d like to join us for the Cebu portion after Boracay, just message me directly — I’m happy to help coordinate plans so we can explore as a group. Our Draft Travel Itinerary (for reference only) February 14: Leave the U.S. (you’ll lose a day due to the 13–14 hour time difference) February 15 : Arrive in Cebu (CEB) and stay the night at Dusit Thani Mactan — our favorite resort to rest and recover from jet lag February 16: Fly from Cebu → Boracay (1 hour) and check in at Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay February 17–19: Vow renewal festivities February 20: We’ll be checking out of Boracay and flying back to Cebu to continue exploring. We’re also planning to extend our trip through the first week of March — spending a little more time on other islands in the Philippines and adding a few days in other nearby Asian countries before heading back to the U.S. If you’d like to join us for any part of the Cebu portion or the extended travel, just message me directly and we can plan it together as a group.

Flight

DFW --> MNL/CEB --> MHP

You can fly from DFW → Cebu (CEB) or DFW → Manila (MNL). Both airports offer quick 1‑hour domestic flights to Boracay (Caticlan Airport – MPH). Most guests will find it easiest to book flights separately: Option 1 — Fly into Cebu (CEB) Best if you plan to join us in Cebu after the wedding. DFW → CEB Then book a separate domestic flight: CEB → Boracay (MPH) Option 2 — Fly into Manila (MNL) Great if you’re not continuing on with us after Boracay, or if Manila fits your travel plans. DFW → MNL Then book a separate domestic flight: MNL → Boracay (MPH) Domestic flights from Manila or Cebu to Boracay are only about 1 hour, and fares often start around $100. Please allow extra time between flights for immigration, customs, baggage claim, and re‑checking in for your Boracay flight.
