Things To Do

Aspen is one of our happiest places, and we’re so thrilled to have you experience it with us. Here are a few of our favorite spots, trails, and moments to enjoy while you’re here.
Smuggler Mountain Trailhead

Smuggler Mountain Trailhead

401 County Road 21, Aspen, CO 81611

Smuggler Mountain Trail is a beloved local hike just minutes from downtown Aspen. The trail is a steady uphill walk to a scenic overlook with beautiful views of the town and surrounding peaks. It’s about 1.5 miles each way and usually takes 45–75 minutes round-trip. If you’re looking to enjoy fresh mountain air and take in the Aspen skyline, this is a wonderful and approachable option. Pro Tip: We recommend downloading the app AllTrails to see the route to Smuggler and all the other hikes Aspen has to offer. It's a great app with a lot of cool functionality.

PARC Aspen

PARC Aspen

620 East Hyman Avenue, Aspen, CO 81611

Largely considered one of Aspen’s premier dining experiences, this spot is known for its acclaimed wine list and seasonally inspired menu. Though every dish impresses, we always find ourselves returning to the John Dory and Smoked Elk — both are truly exceptional.
