We met in high school and were instantly attached at the hip. I remember texting every day, meeting up between classes, hanging out after school and making every weekend plan together. After graduating it was pretty evident we wanted a life together so decided to go to Mizzou and live just a dorm away. We met amazing friends in college and eventually grew up together. We decided our careers and changed them 10 times; always having someone on your side during those years for 100% support was and is the best feeling. We adopted a kitten, Finley, who taught us how to work together and to love and care for something other than each other. When our college experience came to an end, we FINALLY got to move to a new city together to start our careers. We learned that living with your best friend is the best feeling, and we can't imagine daily life without each other now! In Kansas City, the first city we called our own, we adopted kitten #2 Huckleberry, who completes our little family. We learned to create a home together, how to balance work and goals while prioritizing each other. The balance we have created is something we cherish; we can't wait for this life partnership to last a million lifetimes. After travelling during our time in KC, we decided it was time for a big move. Eventually, we took a leap and moved to the best city in the world, and our current home of Clearwater!!! Newly engaged and living in a beach paradise has been a dream. Almost 9 years later and we're still attached at the hip; so I guess the saying is true, "When you know, you know!"
