Things To Do

Estes Park is a prime vacation destination, so there is no shortage of things to do! Here are a few of our favorite places to visit in the area.
Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park

CO

With views like these, it's no surprise RMNP is Colorado's most visited attraction! Some of our favorite hikes in the park include the Sky Pond and Lake Helene trails. During peak season, the park may require reservations for timed-entry. Please check the park website for more information.

The Historic Stanley Hotel

The Historic Stanley Hotel

333 East Wonderview Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517
, (970) 577-4000

Known for inspiring one of Stephen King's most loved novels, the Stanley is a "must-see" spot in Estes. While Grant and Aspen haven't seen any ghosts while visiting the hotel, it's considered one of America's most haunted! It's also home to The Post Chicken and Beer, a great spot for gluten free grub.

Estes Park Distilling Co.

Estes Park Distilling Co.

124 West Elkhorn Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517
, (970) 586-2044

For the whiskey lovers, we recommend the Estes Park Distilling Co. We first tried their whiskey at the annual Whiskey Warm Up, an event we hope to attend for many years to come.

Lake Estes Marina

Lake Estes Marina

1770 Big Thompson Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517
, (970) 586-2011

The Lake Estes Marina offers kayak, paddle board, and pontoon rentals. The water will likely be cold in June, but the lake is beautiful any time of year! If you're interested in lake-view dining, the Dunraven at the Estes Park Resort is both fun and delicious.

KMAC Guides (Kent Mountain Adventure Center)

KMAC Guides (Kent Mountain Adventure Center)

1230 Big Thompson Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517
, (970) 586-5990

For those seeking some high mountain climbing adventure, the via ferrata is a great option. One of Grant's groomsmen is a guide with KMAC.
