What should I wear and not wear?

Answer

We ask that you dress up with us as the dress code is semi formal attire. This includes suits and ties for men, dress shirts, khakis, and dress pants. For women think dresses, blouses, and dress pants. Clothing to avoid includes jeans, athletic shorts, and t-shirts. Colors to avoid include all white (leave that for the bride.) Remember the ceremony will take place outside so dress accordingly!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will not be having an open bar at the wedding, so if you would like drinks, make sure you bring money. The bar only accepts credit and debit cards. There will be beer, wine, and mixed drinks available for purchase. Shots are not allowed at our venue. Please do not let any of this discourage you from letting loose on the dance floor! Our wedding happens once and we want everyone to have a blast! :)

Is it a kid free wedding?

Answer

While our wedding will not be completely "kid-free", we do ask that if it is not specifically stated on your invitation, you take our wedding as an opportunity to get away from the kids for a night!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather is always unpredictable! The wedding will be towards the end of June, so we are assuming it will be warmer outside. We will have tea, lemonade, and water available as guests arrive at our outdoor ceremony.

Do I Get a Plus One?

Answer

If a plus one is not specifically listed on your invitation then we ask that you respect this as we will have only accounted for a certain amount of people.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be inside. In the event of inclement weather, there is a tented area for the ceremony. There will be people to help guide you throughout the day to tell you where to go.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

The address to the wedding venue is 3433 East Brunswick Road, Beecher, Illinois, 60401. You can put it in your phone on Apple or Google Maps. If for some reason you are having a hard time, go ahead and send a text to someone you know is attending the wedding, also.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! Someone will be available upon arrival to tell you where to park.
