We met the old fashioned way like everyone else, online. Then, due to our mismatched schedules we started by chatting each others’ ears off over the phone for a full month before spending four full hours doing the same thing on our first date at a bar. From that first date, the rest is history! We spent a year exploring both St. Louis and the local Midwest going to concerts, sporting events, and comedy shows. It only took about 4 months before Ashtynn asked Sam if she’d join her in Hawaii in October, where she would eventually propose at sunset (peep the highlights of our engagement on the Gallery tab!).
