Our favorite restaurant in the area. We went here the night Ashton proposed :) Reservations are needed. The food and drinks are INCREDIBLE.

You HAVE to get the brisket! They have great cocktails, and an awesome local craft beer menu.

Melanie's Food Fantasy

GREAT for breakfast and brunch. Everything is delicious. My favorite thing to get is the benedict. Ashton's favorite is the waffles. Definitely call ahead if on the weekend. It is a very popular place, and usually has a wait. But it is well worth it!

Laurel Falls Trailhead

Directions from Sugar Hollow: Go to the main entrance and turn right onto 321. Follow 321 until you dead end, and turn left to go towards Hampton/Elizabethton. Laurel Fork Falls Trailhead will be on the left right before you get into the town of Hampton.

Booneshine Brewing Company

We love Booneshine beer! Definitely get the Stick Boy pretzels and beer cheese. You won't regret it!

Appalachian Mountain Brewery

All of the beers are delicious! I actually LOVE their cider too (and usually cider is too sweet for me). The cider they call "The Roots" is my favorite!

Shirley's Home Cooking

Shirley's is the closest restaurant to Sugar Hollow. They are only open Friday to Sunday, and for only breakfast and dinner. Their food is home cooked, and is served family style.
