PRINT YOUR DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Please print your driving directions to Bascom Lodge and have them on hand. It is a good idea to have your directions to your hotels also printed in advance or a map of the area, as GPS and cellular service in the region are spotty.

Parking at Bascom Lodge

If you choose to bring your own vehicle to Bascom Lodge, please have cash on hand. There is a $10 parking fee at the Mt. Greylock State Reservation.

We have checked with numerous local hotels and our party is too small to secure a hotel room block or discount code. We recommend our guests explore the accommodation options listed on this page, and please let us know where you prefer to stay!

Vacation Village in the Berkshires

There is no minimum number of nights required for booking at Vacation Villages. Current rates (as of Jan 2020): One Queen Bed w/Queen Sleeper Suite has a partial kitchen (no oven, dishwasher): $225/night One King Bed w/Queen Sleeper Suite has a full kitchen: $265/night Deluxe Suite - One of each unit with a common foyer (a good option for sharing with another family or couple): $350/night If you call to book you will need to pay for your stay in advance. When booking online you can make the full payment on arrival. Whether booking online or by phone, please note (to the staff or in the online form) if you would like your suite to be located by another family member's suite and they will do their best to accommodate. Located 10 minutes to the base of Mt. Greylock (plan for an additional 20 minutes to the top of the mountain where The Bascom Lodge is located).

Holiday Inn Berkshires

Two night minimum when booking. Current rates for Holiday Inn Berkshires (as of Jan 2021): Standard Two Queen Bedroom: $159/night Hotel is located 15 minutes to the base of Mt. Greylock (please plan for an additional 20 minutes to the top of the mountain where The Bascom Lodge is located).

Bascom Lodge

Bascome Lodge has rooms for rent if you would like to stay directly on the property. We are choosing not to stay there because rooms have shared bathrooms and lack some modern conveniences.
