Where is the wedding?

Answer

We're getting married on April 25, 2026 at The Sutherland in Wake Forest, NC. The venue address is 13371 Wake Union Church Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587. The ceremony will take place in the gardens, followed by cocktail hour with appetizers in the courtyard and a reception with dinner and dancing in the pavilion.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m., so we advise arriving no later than 4:10 p.m. to find your seat and enjoy a pre-ceremony refreshment. If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, we kindly request that you wait in the parking lot until the ceremony is over :)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The recommended dress code is semi-formal. Think spring garden party (just no white outfits please)! Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on a combination of turf and brick. We recommend comfortable shoes!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The Sutherland has free on-site parking. If that happens to fill up, parking is also available at Wake Union Baptist Church next to the venue. Ubers and Lyfts are also readily available in the area. There will be an open bar, so please plan accordingly!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited seating, we're only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Where should guests stay?

Answer

We've reserved a hotel block at the Hampton Inn Raleigh / Town of Wake Forest just five minutes from the wedding venue. Visit the "Accommodations" page for the link to receive discounted rates. Please note that in order to receive the special rates, rooms must be booked prior to March 25, 2026. If rooms at the Hampton Inn happen to book up, there's also a Tru by Hilton just next door.

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 14, 2026 at the absolute latest to allow us enough time to provide our vendors with a final headcount.
