Bride
Hey! I'm the Bride! I currently work within the ABA field as a Licensed Behavioral Specialist. I love all things creepy and macabre. My hobbies include reading, painting, playing board games, and playing cozy video games. Some may say I'm a bit odd, but I have a big heart for helping others!
Groom
You know me, you love me, I'm the groom! I'm working my way towards becoming an elementary teacher and will be beginning my student teaching this fall. I'm a lover of all things weird and wonderful, which coincidentally is why I'm marrying Kristen!
Man of Honor
Hello! I am Kenneth Ash, brother of the bride. Been at this job for 27 years and counting, no retirement here for this title! I used to live in New Jersey, but I expanded my horizons and moved to South Carolina to embrace the warmer temps and the amazing views of the Blue Ridge mountains in our backyard. I enjoy hiking and exploring nature! I am very fond of history and enjoy pursuing it as a pastime as well.
Best Man
I met Jacob 28 years ago in a hospital room. Fun fact, he's rather ruthless with a shovel, and I have the scar to prove it. I hear he's even more dangerous, wielding a bike chain. Kris, on the other hand, is lovely and, fortunately, far less lethal. Excited for her to join the dream team!
Bridesmaid
Hello, I'm Aurora Frasca. I have been friends with both the bride and groom since college, and we share an interest in Dungeons & Dragons! I have only ever known Kristen and Jacob together, and it's clear that they are made for one another. Kristen and I especially love to nerd out over art and books together.
Groomsman
Hello! I'm Brandon Kinard. Friends of both the bride and groom, we all met in college while playing Dungeons & Dragons. Throughout college, we were always friends, even when things changed, and some graduated, we all remained connected. Kristen and Jacob have always been an amazing couple, and as I watched them grow together, I knew there was no one else who could handle each other's craziness. I'm so blessed to celebrate this moment in their love and lives together.
Bridesmaid
Hi, I’m Sarah, and I met Kristen and Jacob back in college at Cairn University! Some of my favorite things to do are exploring a new town, eating dim sum, and playing pickleball when the weather is nice. My favorite memories with Kristen are all of the nights we spent in college, seated together in a dimly lit room, playing tabletop games with our friends.
Groomsman
Hi, I'm Chris. I was the groom's roommate in college and a close friend of the bride. My favorite memory is when Jacob shared the famous quote, "Almost is a more interesting way of saying didn't," and Kristen told me that "40 minutes is like an hour, but no."
Bridesmaid
Greetings! I am Cara Patsch, wife to Kenny, and sister-in-law and friend to Kristen. I ironically met Kenny first, but was friends with Kristen first. Kristen, I met at the homeschool co-op, we graduated from 8th grade and high school together, and attended numerous classes together. I met Jacob in person at Kenny’s and my wedding, and he graciously helped with filming the event. My favorite memory is probably when the four of us went camping together and did a lot of fun activities like trail walks, chilling in hammocks, and kayaking on a river. Mostly, I’ve enjoyed watching them fall in love with each other and grow as a couple
