One September evening at Cairn University, an anxious freshman ventured out into the common room looking to make some friends. She saw two boys playing video games in the common room. After a few minutes of chit-chat, the freshman realized she shared a math class with one of the boys, and the two quickly became study buddies. In truth, not much studying got done (it was more like arguing over whose answer was correct), but the pair found each other to be riveting conversational partners. As they spent more and more long hours talking to each other, a mutual attraction started to bloom.
