Most hotels are in down town or Jack London Square. For a unique stay in a different part of town and/or where you might get more bang for your buck, we recommend booking a home or apartment through Airbnb. Before booking, send us the address and we can verify it’s in a fun part of town! Adam’s Point and Grandlake are great neighborhoods for families. We live in Adam's Point! Both neighborhoods are in close proximity to our venue, Lake Merritt, the wonderful Grandlake neighborhood, and within walking distance to Down Town.

Moxy Oakland Downtown

The Moxy is one of Oakland's newest hotels and is located in the arts and entertainment district of downtown. It has a fantastic location that's close to our home, BART station (if you want to spend any time in San Francisco), the lake, and it's a 15 minute walk from our venue. The hotel boasts a fun/unique design, and we hear you get a free drink at the bar upon check in!

Courtyard by Marriott Oakland Downtown

Located in Downtown, this is a convenient spot for anyone who might want to use BART to pop over to San Francisco. There's tons to do in downtown, and you'll be walking distance from the lake and our venue (20 minute walk). We have never had any issues walking through down town, but you may want to consider getting a Lyft or Uber to drive you if you are coming or going later at night.

Jack London is a very family friendly part of Oakland that has a lots of restaurants, bars, a weekend farmers market, and lots of other things to do. You’ll be within walking distance of down town, but you’ll want to drive, Lyft, of Uber to our venue

Alameda is an island right next to Oakland. It boasts a ton of restaurants, parks, and bars. It’s very family friendly. You will need to Lyft/Uber to get to Oakland.
