This is a safe space!

Answer

We have many friends and family who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. Please remember to be respectful of all people, as we love them dearly. If you are unsure of someone's pronouns, feel free to ask! When in doubt, use they/them as it is gender neutral!

Where is everthing located?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is located at The Emporium. The reception will be located directly across the street from The Emporium at The Armory Arts & Events Center. There is a large staircase in the foyer of the Armory. If you have limited mobility, there is an elevator located at the back of the building you are welcome to use. Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. We suggest parking at The Armory Arts & Events Center and walking across the street to The Emporium for the ceremony. There is also street parking and parking available at The Emporium. If you are able bodied, please consider street parking or the parking at the Emporium. There is limited parking right against the Armory's building. The Armory is an old building and has lots of steps to get to the reception area. If you are unable to climb steps, there is an elevator available to guests located at the back of the venue.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is semi-formal to formal attire. No jeans, t-shirts, or sneakers, please! Our challenge to you: SHOW UP & DAZZLE US! We'd love for you to show up in what makes you feel most amazing.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired an AMAZING photographer to capture our day. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully presernt as we say "I do". We are asking that you please refrain from snapping pictures during the ceremony to allow all guests to have a good view and to allow our hired professionals to do their thing! We promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! Please share these pictures with us by tagging our hashtag:

Hotel Accommodations & Transportation?

Answer

We have secured a hotel block in the Napoleon area. The hotel has provided a set number of rooms. Transportation from the hotels to the venue is not provided. The travel tab is updated with the hotel information.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Although we would love to celebrate with everyone that we know, we are limited to those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love you little ones! However, due to the nature of the event, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family and bridal party. For those with children invited, please note that there will be alcohol consumed and adult behavior occuring during the reception.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP 'no' so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in the timely manner they have given us and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. We hope that you understand.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are on us! Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premise.

I have allergies, I'm vegan/vegetarian, what will I be able to eat?

Answer

Please let us know if you have any food allergies when you RSVP, you can email us with your first and last name and what you are allergic to at at.duvallwedding@gmail.com. Our menu is very allergy and vegan/vegetarian friendly, but we will ensure there will be desserts specifically for you to enjoy.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is a present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table at the enterance to the venue for your convenience. To visit our registry, visit our Registry tab above!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will be directed to the reception venue, The Armory, across the street for cocktail hour.
