October in Southern Portugal is one of the absolute best times to visit! The summer heat has passed, but winter rains have not yet arrived. During the day, the weather can get up to about 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit) while evening temperatures are around 16 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit). Bring a cardigan, wrap or light jacket for the nighttime cool air!
