Ashlyn and Gavin first met over ten years ago while working together as math tutors, not exactly where most people expect to meet their future spouse. They stayed friends and kept in touch for years after college. Then in 2020, Gavin came from California to visit Ashlyn for Christmas… and basically never left. One extended holiday visit later, Gavin somehow lived in Washington. Since then, they’ve built a life together with their dog Chai, filled with equal parts of love, friendship, and probably too many conversations about what to eat for dinner. Life together has brought them more joy than they ever expected, and they’re excited to celebrate the next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
