Our Story
How We Met:
Our mutual friends set us up on a blind date. We intended to go to a popular spot in the West Village in NYC but it was too busy. Instead, we found an Irish dive bar down the street where we talked for several hours.
How He Proposed:
At our favorite shared spot. Home. We had just come back from a nice dinner and got comfy on the couch to watch a movie. Dillon didn't want Ashley to "wait a millisecond longer."
Why Lake Chelan, Washington:
In March 2020, we made the choice to live with Dillon's parents in Washington where there was family, ample space and an escape from the stressful environment in the city.
Dillon's parents met Ashley for the first time as we stepped off the plane in Washington. Scout, the family dog, even greeted Ashley like she had been a part of the family for years. It wasn't long before Ashley felt very at home.
Over MANY months, we explored where Dillon grew up and made many cherished memories together experiencing the Lake Chelan area.
