Things To Do

Mallorca is a fun island full of amazing towns, great food, and beautiful beaches to explore. We’ve rounded up a list of spots we think are worth visiting, with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations in each town, to help you plan your trip and make the most of your time on the island!

Calas in Mallorca

All around the island of Mallorca they have calas. These are another name for small, hidden beach coves—usually tucked between cliffs with clear blue water. They’re perfect for swimming and finding some of the island’s prettiest spots by the sea. Here are a list of Calas we recommend visiting: Cala Deià Cala Mondrago & S’Amarador Cala Llombards Caló des Moro & Cala s’Almunia Sa Calobra Formentor Cala Pi Playa de Muro (not a cala just a beach)

Valldemossa

Valldemossa, IB 07170, Spain

Great town to walk around through the winding streets. Some places we love there for food and a bevvy is "Es Taller" and "Quita Penas"

Deià

Deià, IB 07179, Spain

We recommend going to the The Belmond La Residencia and eating at one of their 2 restaurants "El Olivo" or "Restaurante Miro" and getting to the hotel a little early before your res to enjoy a martini on the terrace. You can walk around the town as well. During the day the beach there is called Cala Deia which is a beautiful rocky cove with turquoise water and mountain scenery.

Palma

Palma, IB, Spain

Palma is Mallorca’s capital, known for its cathedral, historic old town, and great shopping. We recommend going to Bar Nicolas for a cocktail and some aperitivos. For dinner we suggest "El Camino" for classic tapas, "Dins Santi Taura" for a tasting menu experience, or "Can Piar" if you need a break from spanish food they have great pastas.

Sóller

Sóller, IB 07100, Spain

Sóller is a charming town tucked into the mountains, known for its beautiful main square, historic tram, and easy access to the sea at Port de Sóller. It’s a great spot to wander, grab lunch at one of the restaurants in the square, and do some light shopping/sight seeing. About 10 mins driving is another very cute small town Fornalutx and "Cafe Med" there is great.

Beach Clubs

Nu Mallorca beach club about ~40 mins from hotel is a stylish beach club and restaurant right on Playa de Muro with laid-back sunbeds, great sea views, good cocktails, and a lively vibe with a DJ Some other beach clubs recommended closer to Palma area: Gran Folies and UM Beach House

Rent a boat for the day

If you’re exploring the island, there are several areas where you can rent boats. We recommend choosing a rental location closest to where you’re staying for the most convenient experience. Renting a boat is a great way to explore multiple calas—pack some local sandwiches and make a day of it. We rented a boat from Santa Ponsa. You can charter with a skipper or rent a small boat (some don’t require a license).

Golf

There are a couple golf courses near the hotel including Canyamel (2 mins), Capdepera Golf (9 mins from hotel), Pula Golf (11 mins) and Son Servera Golf (14 mins). There is also a great course 20 minutes from Palma Son Gual Golf and has a great lunch place at the clubhouse with good views.
