Our story began when Ryan spotted Ashley tagged in a photo with his cousin during their early college years. During an all nighter study session for an exam, Ryan’s cousin shared Ashley’s phone number with him, and he remembered it for years. It wasn’t until 2019, and Ryan, still recalling that phone number, that they truly started getting acquainted and discovering their incredible connection. They started their adventure of long distance dating, with Ashley in Dallas kicking off her career while Ryan stayed in Houston. Then came COVID, when Ryan joined Ashley in Dallas, where they made some of their favorite memories together with their four pups —Tulu, Bingsu, Luna, and Louie— before returning to Houston to be closer to family. Of course, life had other plans, and Ryan embarked on a new career adventure in New York City. Despite the miles, we kept our love strong with regular visits and plenty of video calls. After Ryan’s return to Houston in February 2023, he popped the question in March 2023, now ready to start the next chapter together. We’ve made countless memories, and built a life we truly cherish. We can’t wait to celebrate this next big adventure with all of you!
