Yes, children are invited. However, if you are given an invite for your child please keep in mind to keep an eye on them during the religious ceremony and reception. If they break something, then you will have to pay for it. Also, when it comes to special moments during the reception for example the 1st dance of the newly weds, please make sure your child is seated and remain quiet during the dance.
It is usually hot, humid with off-and-on rain. There will be days/weeks that it could rain all day or off and on, or times that it will not rain for weeks. We advise everyone to check their weather apps to prepare for their trip. Also, maybe bring an umbrella just in case and sunscreen.
We recommend everyone once they land at Mexico City international airport to change some USD to Mexican pesos. Especially if you are renting a car from the airport and driving to Puebla. There are tolls and they only accept cash (Mexican pesos). Also, some small businesses or Artisan businesses do not accept credit cards. There are also places in Puebla to change your USD to Mexican pesos, they are located at the center of San Pedro Cholula. We can give you a few names of places to do that, send us an E-mail or Text for more info.
Visa and Master card are the 2 cards mainly accepted. American Express is also accepted, however not at all places. Some places do not accept credit card, therefore please keep in mind to bring physical money to exchange. When using credit cards in Mexico you have to ask them for their "Terminal", then they will bring out their credit card machine.
