Question

What COVID-19 precautions will be in place?

Answer

Anyone attending must be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to the wedding, or receive a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the wedding. CEREMONY (OUTDOOR) Guests who are not vaccinated should wear a mask when social distancing is not possible for their own safety. RECEPTION (INDOOR) - The venue requires ALL guests to wear masks indoors, except when eating/drinking or seated at your table (even those who are vaccinated). - N95 masks will be available for unvaccinated individuals - Our final guest list accounts for < 17% capacity of reception & cocktail space, which is large, well-ventilated, and thoroughly sanitized between events. The casino is not allowing any smoking indoors and is requiring masks for all. This is to ensure your safety as you walk through the casino to the cocktail hour/reception. Health and safety are our top priority. If you can longer attend, inform us via phone call at 650-766-4807 no later than July 31st. Otherwise we’ll see you there!

Question

Where can I find parking?

Answer

Parking at Lakeside Beach (ceremony site) is available but limited. If you plan to drive to the ceremony, please give yourself an ample amount of time to find parking. All guests may park for free in the self-park lot or garage at Montbleu Resort & Casino (reception venue) then take a complimentary shuttle to the beach,

Question

When do the shuttles leave & Where is the pick-up/drop-off area?

Answer

UPDATE: The shuttles will pick up guests from the FRONT ENTRANCE of Montbleu, where valet attendants are located. Departure times are at 3:15 PM & 3:35 PM. Arrive to the pick-up area 5 minutes early to board the shuttle. After the ceremony, shuttles will return guests to the hotel in two rounds, similar to the pick-up schedule. Anyone may use this shuttle–it's not limited to Montbleu Resort hotel guests

Question

Where should wedding gifts or cards be placed?

Since we are not local to Tahoe, traveling home with boxed gifts will be difficult. Please send any boxed gifts (see Registry in the menu above) to our address in advance. There will be a designated area to leave us wedding cards/cash gifts at the reception.

Question

Yes, the reception will have assigned seating. Check the seating chart near the entrance of the ballroom to find your table. There is no seating assignment for the ceremony at Lakeside Beach. You may sit anywhere other than seats that are reserved.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal cocktail attire to full formal wear is acceptable. Expected weather— high 70s to low-80s during the outdoor ceremony. Leave the stilettos at home! The ceremony is on a beach with shallow sand.

Question

May I take pictures or video of the wedding?

Answer

Not during our ceremony. We've hired professional photographers and videographers to capture it all. We ask that our guests be "un-plugged" and fully present for the ceremony. For any pictures or videos you capture later in the evening, use the hashtag #AshGotStubbed on social media so we can check them out later!

Question

What if I can no longer attend?

Answer

We understand emergencies come up & health is a priority during COVID-19. We ask that you notify us no later than TWO WEEKS (July 31) before the wedding if you can no longer make it. Beyond that time, we will not be able to get back the funds paid to have you present. For the millennials/gen-Zers, or those who don’t attend weddings often—If you’ve RSVP’d as “Attending”, you’ve been included in a headcount for a cocktail hour, 3-course plated dinner, table seating arrangements, and open bar service. Showing up to something you RSVP’d “yes” to isn’t optional—it’s adulting 101. Respectfully inform us by the deadline above if something comes up.
