Question

What considerations are being made regarding COVID-19?

Answer

We care deeply about the safety of our loved ones who are coming to celebrate with us! First, we highly encourage all guests to either ensure that they are fully vaccinated prior to the wedding or to test themselves beforehand to ensure that our celebration is as safe as possible. Second, we will be providing disposable masks and an abundance of hand sanitizer to anyone who would like to use them. Finally, we will be providing color-coded wristbands (green, yellow, and red) that guests can wear to help indicate the level of social interaction they are most comfortable with. Signage will be available with guidance as to which to choose depending on your preferences. We hope that these considerations will help our guests feel safe and secure celebrating with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Prelude music will begin at 4:00 PM and the ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive at or just before 4:00 to allow yourself plenty of time to park, walk in, and find your seat.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - semi-formal dress or cocktail attire please!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide transportation to and from the hotel. Anyone who is planning to stay in the hotel should plan to provide their own transportation, either with their own vehicle or with a ride share service.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will be taking place at the same venue - Happy Days Lodge at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Handicap-accessible parking will be available right outside the venue in a small lot, while parking for our remaining guests is available across the street from the venue in a large flat lot. Guests will descend a small flight of stairs and use a tunnel under the street to cross over to the venue. Due to the terrain and the distance, we HIGHLY recommend for parties with small children or guests with mobility difficulties to be dropped off at the door before having the driver park their vehicle.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We completely understand that for people with food allergies, going to catered events like weddings can be highly stressful! Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate special meal orders. However, to help with your peace of mind, we will be including clear signage for every item on our menu with a complete list of allergens (i.e. milk, nuts, shellfish, wheat). We also have worked with our caterer to ensure that we have options for every dietary restriction - including vegetarian and vegan options. No one should leave our wedding hungry!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your invite includes "and Family" in the address, then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you and your partner (if applicable).
