The San Diego International Airport is a 10 minute drive to downtown, with rental cars available, and ride services. There is also a trolley that will take you from the airport to downtown and the convention center in about 15 minutes. Trolley prices range from $2.50-$5.00.
Train
The train is a great option! it is about a 5 hour ride from Oxnard or Ventura, to the San Diego, Santa Fe Depot station. The Santa Fe depot is a 5 minute ride share service drive to the venue and downtown area. Taking the train would avoid having to park a vehicle, and pay those fees.
House Or Rental
Stay Alfred's are vacation rental's and require a minimum of a 2 night stay. There are two locations in the downtown San Diego area, and one in Little Italy. We recommend Stay Alfred if you prefer a vacation rental to a hotel. Many of them have two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchens, and a washer and dryer.
House Or Rental
if a house rental is your style, or you are traveling with multiple people, Airbnb may be the way to go! Downtown San Diego is full of great Airbnb's!
