Early May is a wonderful time to hike in the foothills of Salt Lake City. All Trails is a great resource for finding trails. Conditions will depend on snow melt. Ask Erik or Ashley for specific recommendations!
Similar to hiking, there are often mountain bike trails open in the foothills. Conditions will depend on snow melt, but there are plenty of places to rent a bike if you are interested!
Visit High West in Park City for a drink, or visit the location in Wanship for a tasting and tour.

If extending your stay before or after the wedding, Moab would be beautiful! A 3.5 hour drive from SLC, you could visit Arches or Canyonlands National Parks!
Zion is a bit further than Moab, but a beautiful place to visit if you have the time!
4.5 hours from SLC, Bryce is an amazing National Park to visit!
This park has great scenic drives!

Antelope is within an hour from SLC. It has some great views of the Great Salt Lake and you’ll most likely see wild bison!
Since May is shoulder season, ski resort openings will be determined by amount of snow. Snowbird will probably be open to ski and their rooftop pool should be open as well! If interested in checking out a resort, ask Ashley and Erik for a recommendation!
