Event Attire: Casual, but most people dress Country Western. Bring your cowboy boots if you’ve got them 🤠
For any guests who are in town Friday and looking to experience a real southern treat, we are kicking off the weekend with a true Tennessee experience. The Cotton Eyed Joe is Knoxville’s most iconic honky tonk, known for its line dancing, live music, and high-energy crowd. The night starts off in true southern tradition. They start by playing the National Anthem, and everyone is expected to stand and remove their hats. No exceptions. As soon as it’s over, the line dancing begins! No experience is necessary, but be warned, Ashley and her friends grew up frequenting the Joe every weekend…. You may not be able to keep up! Over the years, artists like Chris Stapleton, Dustin Lynch, and Morgan Wallen have taken the stage here when they were still rising artists. The Joe is a true staple of the country music scene. Depending on how many people join, we’ll potentially plan a group dinner beforehand, then head over for a night of dancing, drinks, and a whole lot of fun!

Event Attire: Casual, comfy, dressy… whatever you feel best in!
For our out of town guests, we truly want some time to visit you, and know that the wedding will be a blur. We decided to host a welcome lunch at the farm to kick off the weekend. After lunch, we’ll move into our rehearsal. All are welcome to stay and watch, but only immediate family and the wedding party are required. That evening, we’re heading out with the kids for trick-or-treating. Anyone is welcome to join and costumes are definitely encouraged. More info to come closer to the date.
