105 is a hidden gem! We definitely recommend getting a dessert while you’re there, such as the Bourbon Bread Pudding or Peach Palisade Cobbler.
One of Casey’s favorites. Great spot for brunch (order the pot pie or mimosa flight) or for ‘tizzers and small bites.
If you’re looking for a place you can grab a beer in your sweatpants, this is it. Order a steak and potato, and you’ll be busy grilling these yourself.

Lumen8 is located on floor 8 of the Marriott Springhill Suites and Element hotels. Metered parking can be found along the street. Lumen8 has a great rooftop area. We love their cocktails and pretzel sticks. Fun fact: This is where we went to celebrate right after the proposal!
Colorado Craft is owned by two of our Colorado Springs favorites, who are also Bills' fans! If you're from New York, let them know if you stop in. They have lots of local beer selections as well as some yummy food! *They also own Urban Animal Brewery, which we'd recommend!
Bar Thirty Three is a newer spot in downtown Colorado Springs and one of our favorite spots for a cocktail. Tell the bartender that you want to head downstairs to check out the lounge area!
If you like coffee, tea, or sodas, you'll want to drive-through one of the many Dutch Bros locations. Tell a barista it is your first time, and they can give you plenty of recommendations. Some of our favorites: Caramelizer Freeze Iced Cocomo Jelly Donut Mocha Bob Mocha (has banana) Golden Eagle Soda with Lime and Raspberry
One of our favorite spots to take friends and one of our favorite spots to celebrate big occasions! Food is pricey, but you can grab just yardsticks of beer or drinks if you'd prefer. If you go after 9pm, you can sing along to tunes on the piano, which we'd highly suggest! Golden Bee is also part of the Broadmoor, so if you have time before, we'd recommend walking around the hotel.
Depending on the time of day, you'll get a different experience! During breakfast and brunch, grab something from Denver Biscuit Company. During late night hours, grab a big ass slice from Fat Sully's.
Goat Patch Brewing is another good spot for a beer! They have both indoor and outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and usually, there is a food truck outside to grab some grub.
If you have time to explore, we'd definitely recommend walking around Garden of the Gods Park. You will get incredible views, some exercise, and maybe even see some wildlife. There are paved trails as well as some off-terrain spots, and there are some great areas for a photo-op. There is free parking and restrooms at the park.
The Broadmoor Resort is world-famous for its celebrities that are guests. Even the Presidents stay when visiting the area! There are lots of restaurants on-site to check out as well as views inside and out.
Palmer Lake is a great spot to walk around and get some sights in. It is an easy walk around the lake, and parking is free.
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is in Colorado Springs and is a go-to spot. You can feed the giraffes, which we'd recommend if you go. It is built into the mountain, so expect lots of uphill walking. The pay-out though is the view! There's a reason it is ranked as one of the top zoos in the US each year!
The Mining Exchange is a hotel in downtown Colorado Springs. We took some of our engagement photos here because we love the vintage feel. They recently opened a coffee bar and lobby bar that we'd recommend checking out. On Thursday nights, they typically have live jazz music playing near the lobby bar.
