Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Ashley Bordenet and Casey Grice
We love Colorado and are so excited to share some of our favorite places with you! Some of these are close to the recommended hotel, and some are closer to the downtown Colorado Springs area. If you would like any other recommendations, feel free to reach out, and we are happy to share some of our other favorites as there are so many!

105 Social House

75 Colorado 105, Palmer Lake, CO 80133

105 is a hidden gem! We definitely recommend getting a dessert while you’re there, such as the Bourbon Bread Pudding or Peach Palisade Cobbler.

Atmosphere Gastropub

1327 Interquest Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80921

One of Casey’s favorites. Great spot for brunch (order the pot pie or mimosa flight) or for ‘tizzers and small bites.

O’Malley’s

104 Colorado 105, Palmer Lake, CO 80133

If you’re looking for a place you can grab a beer in your sweatpants, this is it. Order a steak and potato, and you’ll be busy grilling these yourself.

Manhattan Room Tapas Kitchen

1895 Democracy Point, Colorado Springs, CO 80908

Manhattan Room is another that you go for the vibes! Great small bites and drinks! On occasion, there is live music from the overlook.

Lumen8 Rooftop Social

402 South Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Lumen8 is located on floor 8 of the Marriott Springhill Suites and Element hotels. Metered parking can be found along the street. Lumen8 has a great rooftop area. We love their cocktails and pretzel sticks. Fun fact: This is where we went to celebrate right after the proposal!

Colorado Craft Social

15 South Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Colorado Craft is owned by two of our Colorado Springs favorites, who are also Bills' fans! If you're from New York, let them know if you stop in. They have lots of local beer selections as well as some yummy food! *They also own Urban Animal Brewery, which we'd recommend!

Bar Thirty Three

18 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Bar Thirty Three is a newer spot in downtown Colorado Springs and one of our favorite spots for a cocktail. Tell the bartender that you want to head downstairs to check out the lounge area!

Dutch Bros Coffee

Colorado Springs, CO

If you like coffee, tea, or sodas, you'll want to drive-through one of the many Dutch Bros locations. Tell a barista it is your first time, and they can give you plenty of recommendations. Some of our favorites: Caramelizer Freeze Iced Cocomo Jelly Donut Mocha Bob Mocha (has banana) Golden Eagle Soda with Lime and Raspberry

Golden Bee

1 Lake Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

One of our favorite spots to take friends and one of our favorite spots to celebrate big occasions! Food is pricey, but you can grab just yardsticks of beer or drinks if you'd prefer. If you go after 9pm, you can sing along to tunes on the piano, which we'd highly suggest! Golden Bee is also part of the Broadmoor, so if you have time before, we'd recommend walking around the hotel.

Atomic Cowboy home of Denver Biscuit Co & Fat Sully's NY Pizza

528 South Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Depending on the time of day, you'll get a different experience! During breakfast and brunch, grab something from Denver Biscuit Company. During late night hours, grab a big ass slice from Fat Sully's.

Goat Patch Brewing Company

2727 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80907

Goat Patch Brewing is another good spot for a beer! They have both indoor and outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and usually, there is a food truck outside to grab some grub.

Garden of the Gods

1805 N. 30th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80904

If you have time to explore, we'd definitely recommend walking around Garden of the Gods Park. You will get incredible views, some exercise, and maybe even see some wildlife. There are paved trails as well as some off-terrain spots, and there are some great areas for a photo-op. There is free parking and restrooms at the park.

Broadmoor

1 Lake Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

The Broadmoor Resort is world-famous for its celebrities that are guests. Even the Presidents stay when visiting the area! There are lots of restaurants on-site to check out as well as views inside and out.

Palmer Lake

Palmer Lake, CO

Palmer Lake is a great spot to walk around and get some sights in. It is an easy walk around the lake, and parking is free.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is in Colorado Springs and is a go-to spot. You can feed the giraffes, which we'd recommend if you go. It is built into the mountain, so expect lots of uphill walking. The pay-out though is the view! There's a reason it is ranked as one of the top zoos in the US each year!

The Mining Exchange A Wyndham Grand Hotel & Spa

8 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

The Mining Exchange is a hotel in downtown Colorado Springs. We took some of our engagement photos here because we love the vintage feel. They recently opened a coffee bar and lobby bar that we'd recommend checking out. On Thursday nights, they typically have live jazz music playing near the lobby bar.
