During the summer of 2023, Cade and Ashley were both excited to participate in neuroscience research at Furman University. Although they were supposed to be partaking in the fun of excel spread sheets and behavior mapping, Cade and Ashley frequently got into long conversations. Not only did two hours of talking feel like two minutes, but they also realized they had a surprising amount of things in common. They were particularly amazed when they found out they are both half Jewish on the mom's side. A friendship grew throughout the summer filled with laughs and research meetings. Eventually, Cade worked up the courage to ask Ashley out on a date to Swamp Rabbit, where they talked once again for four hours straight. The rest is history and they are excited to spend the rest of their lives losing track of time together.
