Save The Date!

Andres and I would come across each other on some days over the years but we did not know each other... What's funny is that we had already been following each other on social media 2 years before we actually started talking... We first hit it off during Andres's 23rd Birthday Party on Mill Ave. A mutual friend had asked me if I wanted to go to his party and I said sure, not knowing anyone at the party... I thought I would get out of my comfort zone and have fun! It was fun, such a vibe, I happened to be dancing on top of the booth seats.. I had to go pee so bad, I was wearing wedges during this night and I was carefully trying to get down.. then suddenly I saw a hand reach out to assist me. I look across from me and it was Andres helping me get down and from there it was HISTORY!!!....... jk lol. He actually doesn't remember this scenario 😐 but to me, it was like a love movie scene, "Love at first sight". We started dancing and from there that was the last time I saw Andres as he drank too much and I guess got kicked out of the bar HAHA!! We started texting each other more, getting to know each other the next few days, & weeks. We would meet up at the gym to "workout" but really just to hang out, flirt lol. At some point we were talking A LOT, hanging out more.. Andres had picked me up to go to a friends house for dinner as he was driving, he pulled over to the side by a park area before the dinner... Andres broke the ice and asked "So what are we doing here?" "Are we just hanging out for fun or are we a thing?." "I do believe you are the one for me, and the one to meet my parents." Personally I didn't want to be a thing YET....... But on 05/05/2018 (Yes! Cinco de Mayo), I said yes. Though I thought it was too soon, he reassured me not to overthink or care about anyone else's opinions of our quick relationship. Mind you it was March when started getting to know each other, less than 2 months. We both had the same mutual feelings.. I felt that our bond/chemistry was already so strong, it's as if we had already known each other for SO MANY YEARS!!!

Our first dinner date was at Olive Garden. Andres had asked me where do you want to go for dinner. LIKE ANY RELATIONSHIP we always say I DON'T KNOW lol!!! Don't get me wrong I like olive garden but I'm not a HUGE fan. Growing up, pasta was always an everyday dish coming from a low-income family that's all we ate! and easily we got tired of it as the years went by. Do I like pasta? Yes, is it my #1 choice? Nope. But we had just started dating and I didn't want to be an a**............ Andres asked me "Olive garden?" I said "Sure" lol!!! I broke the news to him I think a few weeks later, he just laughed about it but he now knows it's not my #1. So that's the story of our first dinner date lol.
