Laura and Ashley met in middle school. They crossed paths during a pre-freshman engineering program. But they really became close friends during the 7th grade at Longfellow. Laura and Ashley truly get each other. Laura has become a sister as they have been there for each other through all walks of life. Ashley is so excited to have Laura stand by her side.

Uli has not only been a great friend to AJ, but family. He’s one of the most genuine, family-oriented people AJ knows, and that quality shines through in everything he does. His family has been just as welcoming, always opening their doors to Ashley and AJ, making them feel a part of their world. Over the last four years, Uli and AJ have built a friendship full of great memories, support, and fun times that AJ will never forget. AJ appreciates everything Uli and his family has done for him. AJ wouldn’t want anyone else standing beside him as his best man.

Amber is Ashley’s older sister! Amber brought Ashley her two amazing nephews who she cherishes So much. Ashley loves and admires her sister so much. Amber and Ashley may bump heads but Ashley could not imagine having any other sister in the world. Amber is stuck with Ashley forever!

AJ first met Edward through his Tia Roxanne during one of the hardest times in his life. Edward and Roxanne showed AJ incredible generosity by opening their doors and giving him a place to stay when he needed it most. AJ is deeply thankful for all Edward has done, not just for him, but for his family as well. His kindness has left a lasting impact on AJ's life.

Anja and Ashley met at A&M during their freshman year new student conference. Ashley saw this sweet girl with curly hair and knew she had to make a friend here that she could tackle the year with. They exchanged numbers, sat together during their first class and they have been friends ever since. Anja understood Ashley and made her feel so safe during her college years! Even from cities away Ashley knows she can always count on Anja.

Shiloh is AJ's little brother, every time they get the chance to spend time together, it feels natural — like they have never missed a beat. They joke, laugh, and find themselves caught up in the same interests, which makes moments they share even more special. It’s important for AJ to have him standing with him on his wedding day — because it means the world knowing his little brother not only supports him but also embraces the person, AJ has chosen to share his life with.

Evelina and Ashley met during their freshman year. Evelina had messaged Ashley’s high school friend and asked if he wanted to go to a praise and worship on campus! Ashley joined and her and Evelina hit it off as friends! They bonded more as they both joined the Catholic Sorority Kappa Theta Beta at Texas A&M.

Ryan has always been a pain in AJ's ass — the one pushing AJ to lean into his reckless side, to not take life so seriously, and to embrace the ride. Ryan is AJ's big brother, so he wouldn’t expect anything less. Along the way, AJ might have picked up some of those rebellious traits from him — the ones that give him courage, strength, and the drive to take the world head-on.
