Our wedding ceremony will take place at Eilean Donan Castle at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. A drinks reception inside the castle will immediately follow the ceremony. We are planning a late dinner at The Dornie (approximately half a mile from the castle) around 8 PM.
In lieu of a traditional reception, we would love to make memories exploring the beautiful Isle of Skye with our guests the day before the wedding.
Schedule for September 16th:
5:30 PM - bride & groom's first look at the castle bridge
5:40 PM - family photos at the castle
6:00 PM - guests arrive
6:30 PM - ceremony begins
7:00 PM (approx) - drinks reception at the castle
8:00 PM (approx) - dinner at The Dornie

This is a Scottish castle wedding, so we encourage you to dress accordingly! Fascinators are traditional UK wedding accessories, so feel free to have fun with that! Tartan print & kilts are welcome, but we're going against tradition & requiring something to be worn underneath them! Please do not wear jeans, t-shirts, or white. Bridesmaids will be dressed in black.
The castle is roughly half a mile from the dinner venue. Please wear comfortable shoes! The ceremony begins at 6:30PM, but please arrive to the castle at 6PM. We are still awaiting dinner options from our venue - stay tuned! PLEASE RSVP BY JULY 31ST!
